About the Journal

The Journal of Applied Humanities Studies (JAHS) is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research and scholarly articles that apply humanities-based perspectives to explain, analyze, and develop concepts and practices related to human society and culture. The journal emphasizes two main thematic areas: Applied Humanities and Interdisciplinary Humanities, covering a wide range of topics such as religion, philosophy, and ethics; language, translation, and intercultural communication; cultural identity, heritage, and history; arts, literature, and creative practices; psychology and mental health; education and pedagogy; social institutions and human relationships; and the intersection of humanities and media. Published by the Faculty of Humanities, Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, JAHS is issued twice a year, in June and December, and has been active since 2023. The journal is published online in English, indexed in Google Scholar and EuroPub, and offers an open-access platform with no article processing charges (APCs), providing opportunities for scholars, researchers, and practitioners worldwide to contribute and access knowledge freely.

Implementation of DOI to Enhance International Standards

Journal of Applied Humanities Studies (JAHS) hereby announces that the journal has officially implemented the Digital Object Identifier (DOI) system for all published academic articles.

The assignment of a DOI to each article enhances the journal’s publication standards in alignment with international academic practices. A DOI serves as a permanent identifier, enabling accurate citation, efficient retrieval, and reliable access to scholarly works across academic databases and indexing platforms.

This initiative reflects the journal’s commitment to continuous development in publication management and academic quality, strengthening its credibility and expanding the global accessibility of published research.

The journal remains dedicated to advancing its standards and dissemination processes for the benefit of authors, researchers, and readers worldwide.
