About the Journal

The Journal of Applied Humanities Studies (JAHS) is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research and scholarly articles that apply humanities-based perspectives to explain, analyze, and develop concepts and practices related to human society and culture. The journal emphasizes two main thematic areas: Applied Humanities and Interdisciplinary Humanities, covering a wide range of topics such as religion, philosophy, and ethics; language, translation, and intercultural communication; cultural identity, heritage, and history; arts, literature, and creative practices; psychology and mental health; education and pedagogy; social institutions and human relationships; and the intersection of humanities and media. Published by the Faculty of Humanities, Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, JAHS is issued twice a year, in June and December, and has been active since 2023. The journal is published online in English, indexed in Google Scholar and Thai Journal Online (ThaiJO), and offers an open-access platform with no article processing charges (APCs), providing opportunities for scholars, researchers, and practitioners worldwide to contribute and access knowledge freely.

Temporary Suspension of Manuscript Submission

The Editorial Board of the Journal of Applied Humanities Studies (JAHS) announces that the journal is temporarily suspending new manuscript submissions while implementing improvements in accordance with the recommendations and quality assessment criteria of the Thai-Journal Citation Index Centre (TCI) to further enhance the journal's academic standards.

During this period, the journal will revise its editorial policies, author guidelines, manuscript format, and peer-review process to ensure full compliance with TCI quality standards and international best practices.

The reopening date for manuscript submissions will be announced on the journal's website.
