Integrating Buddhist Principles to Improve Practice of Village Health Volunteers in Chom Chaeng Subdistrict Municipality Mae Taeng District, Chiang Mai Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research article are 1) to study the quality of work performance of village public health volunteers, 2) to compare the performance of village public health volunteers, and 3) to present guidelines for work that integrate Buddhist principles. Ministry to develop the work of village health volunteers in Chom Chaeng Subdistrict Municipality, Mae Taeng District, Chiang Mai Province. The research method is a combined method. The sample group used in the quantitative research was 136 group health volunteers in Chom Chaeng Subdistrict Municipality. The instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire. and analyze data with statistics, including finding frequencies, percentages, averages, and standard deviations. Hypotheses were tested by t-test. and test the F value The qualitative research used in-depth interviews with 9 key informants/people. Data were analyzed using descriptive content analysis techniques.

The results of the research found that 1) to study the level of quality of work of village health volunteers in Chom Chaeng Subdistrict Municipality, found that overall it was at a high level (= 4.05, S.D. = 0.723) 2) to Comparing personal factors affecting the performance of village health volunteers in Chom Chaeng Subdistrict Municipality. Classified by personal factors, it was found that, overall, it was at a high level ( = 4.05, S.D. = 0.723). 3) To propose guidelines for working according to integrated Buddhist principles for village health volunteers. In Chom Chaeng Subdistrict Municipality, it was found that village health volunteers should act as a good example. Both in the form of participating in activities, campaigns, public relations. and cooperation with subdistrict health promotion hospitals and communities in promoting health that is truly beneficial to the people.
