Buddhist art therapy : Creation of art for worship in lanna traditions of Ban ram porng community, Mueang district, Chiang mai province

Abstract

This research article It has three objectives: 1) To survey Lanna Buddhist art in the community that was created for worship in the traditional events of the Ban Rampeng community, Mueang District, Chiang Mai Province. 2) To compile and select Buddhist art to be applied in conservation work and to create innovations. of the community 3) to organize activities to transfer knowledge in creating conservation Buddhist art works and innovation of the Ban Ram Poeng community.This research is a qualitative research (Qualitative Research) leading to Lanna Buddhist art work in the community. created for worship in the community's traditions and transfer knowledge in the creation of Buddhist art conservativelyThe results were found that: 1) Surveying Buddhist art works is not just things, materials, or buildings. But Buddhist art is still something that holds the mind in many aspects. There are 4 things that local people give importance to: 1) according to Buddhist principles, 2) spiritual value, 3) aesthetic value, 4) economic and political value.2) The community has outstanding works with high Lanna vernacular identity. and in line with the way of life of the Ban Rampoeng community By using conservation to create innovations of the community for worship in the Lanna tradition.3) Organizing activities to create conservation Buddhist art works. and innovation of the Ban Ram Poeng community To bring the knowledge gained and synthesize it with the community. There is public relations through various media, including the creation of innovative works and the creation of conservation Buddhist art. and community innovation in order to further develop the product or marketing that can actually be used today.
