Abstract

Background and Aims: The main area of research concern is the dearth of age-appropriate, efficacious pedagogical approaches for helping elementary school students develop analytical thinking. This problem is exacerbated by uneven implementation and insufficient assessment instruments. To ensure that all students gain from enhanced analytical thinking abilities, addressing these concerns necessitates a thorough assessment of instructional strategies and the development of appropriate assessment techniques. The purpose of this paper is to review the literature on pedagogical approaches and assess how well they work to improve elementary school students' capacity for analytical thought.
Methodology: This study examined the body of research on instructional strategies and their effects on critical thinking through documentary research. This approach had drawbacks, such as possible biases and inconsistent document quality, but it was successful in its thorough review and economical nature.
