This decline is largely attributed to shark hunting conducted for various purposes, particularly for commercial expliitation. Sharks are frequently hunted for their fins, which are widely consumed as a delicacy in international markets. Another contributing factor is that fishermen often attempt to reduce shark populations because sharks prey on commercially valuable fish species that constitute an important source of income for local fisheries. These practices have caused serious ecological consequences for coastal ecosystems, as sharks play a critical ecological role in maintaining marine balance and coastal stability. Although Thailand is a member of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES), which aims to regulate and control international trade in endangered wildlife, the existing legal measures in Thailand appear to be insufficient to effectively address the problem of shark hunting. Therefore, this study examines and compares the legal frameworks of Australia and Japan with Thai law in order to propose amendments and improvements to Thailand’s legal system for more effective regulation and control of shark hunting.

Keywords: Shark Hunting, Comparative Law, Legal Regulation
Narumol TANISRO, Arnon SRIBOONROJ Copyright (c) 2026 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/ https://so09.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/PMR/article/view/9150 Fri, 10 Apr 2026 00:00:00 +0700 BEYOND GENDER BINARY: CHALLENGES IN ENFORCING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE LAWS FOR SAME-SEX SPOUSES IN THAILAND’S POST-MARRIAGE EQUALITY ERA https://so09.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/PMR/article/view/9151
While Thailand has celebrated a landmark shift toward legal inclusivity with the Act Amending the Civil and Commercial Code (No. 24), B.E. 2567, achieving marriage equality is only the first step. This study explores how structural and procedural gaps within Thai domestic violence law may affect the protection available to same-sex couples. Using qualitative legal analysis and comparative perspectives, the discussion considers relevant provisions of the Thai Criminal Code, the Criminal Procedure Code, and the Family Institution Promotion and Development Act (B.E. 2562). This analysis incorporates insights from developments in the United Kingdom as well as international human rights instruments, such as the Yogyakarta Principles and CEDAW. The findings highlight several interconnected concerns. First, certain protective and procedural provisions continue to depend on gender-specific language, which could lead to ambiguity in accessing legal remedies, even with the establishment of marriage equality. Second, the current framework tends to focus on isolated incidents of physical harm, leaving patterns of coercive control and identity-based abuse less clearly addressed. Third, enforcement practices may still be influenced by gendered assumptions, sometimes interpreting same-sex violence as mutual conflict rather than recognising potential power imbalances. The study therefore suggests that the effectiveness of marriage equality requires broader legal and institutional adjustments, including clearer legislative language, expanded conceptual approaches to domestic violence, and more inclusive enforcement practices.

Keywords: Coercive Control, Domestic Violence, LGBTQ+ Rights, Marriage Equality, Thai Law
Nodtapol BUANGERN, Chatchai URAPAN, Wisidda NUALMEE, Sanruthai JARUCHAVALIT Copyright (c) 2026 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/ https://so09.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/PMR/article/view/9151 Fri, 10 Apr 2026 00:00:00 +0700 POSITIVE PSYCHOLOGICAL CAPITAL AND WORK ENGAGEMENT AFFECTING THE JOB BURNOUT OF BANGKOK HEALTH VOLUNTEERS https://so09.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/PMR/article/view/9153
This study aimed to (1) examine the levels of positive psychological capital, work engagement, and burnout; (2) investigate the relationships between positive psychological capital and work engagement with burnout; and (3) examine the effects of positive psychological capital and work engagement on burnout. This randomized split-face clinical trial evaluated the efficacy and safety of combined intense pulsed light (IPL) and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy compared with PRP monotherapy for facial rejuvenation in 12 healthy participants aged 25–45 years with grade 2–3 wrinkles. Each participant received IPL plus PRP on one side of the face and PRP alone on the contralateral side at four-week intervals for three sessions. Outcomes were assessed at baseline and at weeks 4, 8, and 12 using VISIA® wrinkle analysis, Cutometer® for skin viscoelasticity, Tewameter® for transepidermal water loss (TEWL), Global Aesthetic Improvement Scale (GAIS), patient satisfaction scores, and adverse-event monitoring. The combination therapy demonstrated significantly greater improvements in wrinkle scores, skin viscoelasticity, and TEWL reduction compared with PRP alone (p < 0.05), along with enhanced collagen remodeling and improved overall skin tone. Higher GAIS and patient satisfaction scores were observed in the IPL+PRP group. Adverse effects were mild and transient, with no serious complications reported. These findings suggest that combination therapy is a safe and more effective non-invasive treatment than monotherapy for comprehensive facial rejuvenation.

Keywords: Intense Pulsed Light, Platelet-rich Plasma, Facial Rejuvenation, Skin Aging, Wrinkle Reduction
Yamin EAINT, Tanomkit PAWCSUNTORN Copyright (c) 2026 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/ https://so09.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/PMR/article/view/9156 Fri, 10 Apr 2026 00:00:00 +0700 FACTORS INFLUENCING THE DECISION TO USE FINANCIAL SERVICES VIA THE BAAC MOBILE BANKING APPLICATION OF THE BANK FOR AGRICULTURE AND AGRICULTURAL COOPERATIVES IN UDON THANI PROVINCE https://so09.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/PMR/article/view/9157
This research aimed to study the factors affecting the decision to use financial services via the BAAC Mobile application among Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives customers in Udon Thani province. Results showed statistically significant improvements across all primary outcomes. Following the intervention, mean PASI decreased from 9.21 to 6.00, representing a 34.85% reduction (p < 0.001), with 44.4% of participants achieving a PASI-50 response. Significant weight loss was observed, with mean reductions in body weight (–4.57 kg; 5.63%), BMI (–1.62 kg/m²; 5.61%), and waist circumference (–4.36 cm; 4.65%) (p < 0.001 for all). Lifestyle outcomes improved substantially; sleep quality scores (PSQI) decreased by 29.89%, with 72.2% of participants achieving good sleep quality post-intervention (p < 0.001). Furthermore, quality of life (DLQI) scores improved by 23.26% (p = 0.005), with two-thirds of the cohort reporting enhanced well-being. The intervention was well-tolerated, with only mild, transient side effects and high participant satisfaction (94.4% of willingness to continue). In conclusion, a daytime 16:8 TRE regimen is a safe and effective non-pharmacologic intervention for improving clinical psoriasis severity, metabolic health, sleep, and quality of life. Given the high adherence and positive outcomes, TRE could be a feasible adjunctive lifestyle therapy for managing chronic plaque-type psoriasis in overweight populations.
Hsu Pyay ZAW, Tanomkit PAWCSUNTORN Copyright (c) 2026 Procedia of Multidisciplinary Research https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://so09.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/PMR/article/view/9035 Fri, 24 Apr 2026 00:00:00 +0700 GUIDELINES FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF TECHNOLOGICAL LEADERSHIP OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS UNDER THE BANGKOK METROPOLITAN ADMINISTRATION, TALING CHAN DISTRICT OFFICE https://so09.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/PMR/article/view/9039
This research aimed to 1) study the level of technological leadership of school administrators under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Taling Chan District Office, and 2) propose guidelines for developing the technological leadership of school administrators under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Taling Chan District Office. However, in the context of rapid changes in society, technology, and education policies that emphasize quality-oriented outcomes, teachers face diverse workloads, resource limitations, working environment challenges, and internal administrative structures. These conditions may affect multiple dimensions of their QWL, particularly in Sai Noi District schools under the Nonthaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, where variations in community context and institutional capacity exist. This quantitative study aimed to examine the factors affecting the Quality of Work Life of government teachers in Sai Noi District schools under the Nonthaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. Specifically, the study investigated organizational factors, environmental factors, and job responsibility factors, and analyzed their influence on teachers’ QWL. The sample consisted of 200 government teachers. The research instrument was a questionnaire, and data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis. The findings revealed that organizational factors, environmental factors, job responsibility factors, and overall QWL were all at the highest level. Organizational factors reflected the participatory role of school administrators, environmental factors indicated the appropriateness of the working environment, and job responsibility factors highlighted workplace safety. Furthermore, all three factors were positively correlated with teachers’ QWL at a statistically significant level of .01, with moderate correlation coefficients. The results of multiple regression analysis showed that environmental factors and job responsibility factors together explained 24.40% of the variance in QWL. Among these, environmental factors had the strongest influence (β = .336), followed by job responsibility factors (β = .233).
Orawan CHAIPHAKDEE Copyright (c) 2026 Procedia of Multidisciplinary Research https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://so09.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/PMR/article/view/9090 Fri, 24 Apr 2026 00:00:00 +0700 DIGITAL COMPETENCE FOR SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS OF CENTRAL BANGKOK AREA UNDER DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION BANGKOK METROPOLITAN ADMINISTRATION https://so09.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/PMR/article/view/9117
This study aimed to: 1) examine the level of digital competence of school administrators in the Central Bangkok area under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, and 2) compare their digital competence based on gender, age, and work experience. Current methodologies for assessing entrepreneurial potential are disjointed, frequently concentrating on singular categories such as qualities, competences, or goals. This study fills this gap by introducing the BUSEM Index, a multidimensional conceptual framework for evaluating entrepreneurial potential in a cohesive and comprehensible manner. The suggested model consists of six dimensions: Boldness (RP), Opportunity Recognition (OR), Innovation Attitude (IA), Entrepreneurial Knowledge (EK), Motivation (MO), and Entrepreneurial Intention (EI). These elements represent an integration of psychological, cognitive, and behavioral viewpoints in entrepreneurship. The BUSEM Index utilizes a systematic assessment paradigm incorporating Likert-scale items, which are consolidated into dimension-specific scores and a comprehensive composite index. The indicator is converted into a standardized percentage scale to improve interpretability. To provide preliminary empirical support, a pilot test was conducted with a sample of 38 respondents to examine the clarity and internal consistency of the measurement items. The results indicate acceptable levels of reliability across the six dimensions, with Cronbach’s alpha values ranging from 0.738 to 0.940, suggesting the suitability of the instrument for further large-scale validation. This study contributes to literature by proposing a multidimensional framework for entrepreneurial potential and presenting a practical indicator that connects theory with application. This work establishes a foundation for future empirical validation through more extensive data collection and advanced statistical analysis.
Suchart TRIPOPSAKUL, Phisanu KATJAROEN, Alongkorn SUWANVESH, Navin PRATHUMRAT, Runglawan SKULMALAITHONG Copyright (c) 2026 Procedia of Multidisciplinary Research https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 https://so09.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/PMR/article/view/9136 Fri, 24 Apr 2026 00:00:00 +0700 ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT AND PERCEIVED ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT INFLUENCING EMPLOYEES’ INNOVATIVE WORK BEHAVIOR IN INDUSTRIAL FACTORIES IN SAMUT PRAKAN PROVINCE https://so09.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/PMR/article/view/9098
This study aimed to examine organizational commitment and perceived organizational support influencing employees’ innovative work behavior in industrial factories in Samut Prakan Province.
