Vol. 1 No. 1 (2023): Journal of New Horizon in Higher Education (January-June)

This inaugural issue of the Journal of New Horizon in Higher Education (NHHE) marks the launch of the journal by the Association of Thailand Higher Education Professional and Organizational Development Network (ThaiPOD). For many years, ThaiPOD has supported the higher education community through conferences, workshops, and publications on teaching and learning. NHHE extends this work by providing a platform for academics and professionals in Thailand and abroad to share research, cases, and innovative ideas on teaching, learning, policy, and management.

This issue features four research articles and one academic article from Thailand, China, and the United States. The research articles examine language MOOCs, artificial intelligence and the future of higher education, student learning behavior in blended learning, and translanguaging in English for Specific Purposes classrooms. The academic article explores foresight in higher education from a US perspective. We thank the authors, reviewers, and members of the editorial and international advisory boards who made this first issue possible.
