Abstract
The objectives of this research article were 1) to study the level of people's participation in local development of Mae Pong Subdistrict Municipality. Doi Saket District Chiang Mai Province 2) a comparative study of the participation of the people's sector in local development It is a quantitative research. The population used in the study were: The population used in the research was a sample of 349 people. The research instruments were questionnaires and interview forms. The statistics used in the research were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation.
The results showed that,The level of participation of the people's sector in the local development of Mae Pong Subdistrict Municipality Doi Saket District Chiang Mai Province The overall average is at a high level. As for the results of the study comparing the level of participation When classified by personal factors, it was found that the level of participation differed by gender, age, educational level. Occupation and length of residence at a statistically significant level of .05, but did not differ by population.
