Eaching Commercial and Business Lw 3 Course Active Learning (AL) Mdel in the Situation of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid 19) Eidemic of Law Students Chom Bueng Rajabhat University

Abstract

This study aims to (1) examine the effects of teaching commercial law and business using three active learning models. (2) Display the effects of teaching commercial law and business through three different interactive learning methods during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research methodology is quantitative and quasi-experimental. The study involves 29 third-year law students enrolled in the commercial and business law course in the first semester of the academic year 2022. Various tools such as management models, teaching plans, tests, assessments, and questionnaires are utilized. Data collected is analyzed using statistical methods and content analysis techniques.      

The results of the study found that: 1) The online learning system for Commercial and Business Law 3 involves a thorough process of curating essential lesson content that demands a profound understanding from students. Through active learning, students not only memorize but also practice, leading to a better grasp of the subject matter. This approach significantly enhances the effectiveness of teaching and learning in the course. Students are encouraged to conduct research prior to classes and during their online studies. They are also trained to provide exam answers in the form of illustrative problems or concise three-paragraph responses. 2) The deep learning model is designed to ensure that the principles of law are effectively established, defined, and consolidated. It follows a set of guidelines for crafting responses to legal exams, which significantly impact students' performance in both midterm and final assessments. This approach not only saves time for students and teachers but also enables students to acquire comprehensive knowledge of the course material. Moreover, it fosters their proficiency in utilizing legal language in both oral and written communication, ultimately leading to holistic learning outcomes.

The research findings have provided valuable insights into structuring teaching and learning during challenging situations caused by the spread of harmful viruses. Despite the impact on everyone's well-being and assets, it is crucial to ensure that the subject of Commercial Business Law 3 continues without interruption. Students acquire comprehensive knowledge within the designated timeframe as the instructor diligently implements an effective active learning management approach to maximize their learning outcomes.
