Bahussutta in the Maṅgala Sutta: A Buddhist Perspective on Life Quality Development

Abstract
This academic article aims to investigate the principle of Bahussuta (Learning) in the 38 Maṅgala Sutras and its relationship with life quality development according to Buddhist principles. The study explores the understanding and implementation of sustainable learning potential through a comprehensive analysis of critical dimensions. The research methodology focuses on clarifying essential aspects to achieve optimal and effective outcomes. The study reveals that the Bahussuta principle in the 38 Maṅgala Sutras is a fundamental doctrine promoting lifelong learning, intellectual development, and quality of life enhancement. By emphasizing the significance of continuous education, active listening, and persistent knowledge acquisition, this principle demonstrates a profound correlation with four essential life dimensions: intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual.
