Development of skill training on the topic of social institutions, social studies, religion and culture for Mathayom 2/11 students at Ubon Ratchathani Demonstration School, under the Office of the Secondary Education Service Area, Ubon Ratchathani, Amnat

Abstract

The objectives of this classroom research were 1) to develop the academic achievement before and after learning on Social Institutions, Social Studies, Religion and Culture of Mathayom 2/11 students at Ubon Ratchathani Demonstration School, Amnat Charoen, under the Office of the Secondary Educational Service Area Ubon Ratchathani, Amnat Charoen, and 2) to compare the academic achievement before and after learning with the skill practice on Social Institutions, Social Studies, Religion and Culture for Mathayom 2/11 students at Ubon Ratchathani Demonstration School, Amnat Charoen, under the Office of the Secondary Educational Service Area Ubon Ratchathani, Amnat Charoen. The target group used in this research was Mathayom 2/11 students in the first semester of the 2024 academic year at Ubon Ratchathani Demonstration School, Amnat Charoen, under the Office of the Secondary Educational Service Area Ubon Ratchathani, Amnat Charoen, totaling 31 people, who were selected by purposive selection. The research instruments included 3 learning management plans, totaling 3 hours. The measurement tools were pre- and post-learning tests with 4-choice multiple-choice questions, with 15 questions. The innovation was the skill practice on Social institutions Data analysis was conducted using statistics in research, including percentage, mean, standard deviation (S.D.) and statistics for comparative analysis of academic achievement of students before and after learning by using the skill training of Mathayom 2/11 students, namely, percentage of development. The research results found that 1) The results of the evaluation of the quality of the research tools found that the experts' evaluation had an overall opinion that the tools used in this research were highly consistent (IOC value equal to 1.00), which could be used. 2) Students who studied with the skill training had an average score of academic achievement before learning of 6.67 percent and an average score of 13.2 percent from the achievement test after learning. 3) The results of the comparison of academic achievement from the test of the target group before and after learning showed that students had an academic achievement test after learning that was significantly higher than before learning at the 0.5 level.
