Abstract

This research aimed to develop a skill training on respecting the rights and freedoms of oneself and others in the subject of civic duty and to compare the academic achievement before and after studying with the skill training on respecting the rights and freedoms of oneself and others of 39 Mathayom 1/7 students of Triam Udom Suksa Pattanakarn School, which was the target group selected specifically. The data collection tools were the learning management plan and the achievement test. The data were analyzed using percentage, mean, and standard deviation (S.D.) statistics. The research results found that 1) The academic achievement of students before studying was an average score of 8.66 and the post-study score was 17.15. The average score increased by an average of 17.16 – 8.66 = 8.49, with a percentage of development of 77.10 percent. 2) The results of the comparison of academic achievement from the test showed that students had higher academic achievements before and after studying than before studying with statistical significance at the .05 level.
