Abstract

This article aims to study and analyze the principles of constructive criticism according to Buddhism, focusing on the main principles and benefits for the development of oneself and others. Constructive criticism in the context of Buddhism is an important form of communication based on the foundation of loving-kindness, compassion, and wisdom. It aims to promote the balanced and sustainable development of both the recipient and the critic.

The process of constructive criticism according to Buddhism begins with a pure mind, free from bias, and a commitment to provide useful suggestions so that the recipient can truly improve and develop themselves. In addition to pointing out flaws, it must also offer constructive and tangible solutions, based on the main principles of austerity, non-violence, truthfulness, patience, and harmony. All of these lead to criticism with a mind full of loving-kindness and wisdom.

Constructive criticism according to Buddhism is very beneficial to the development of the quality of life of both the critic and the critic. Those who receive good criticism will be able to clearly see opportunities for self-development, be inspired and encouraged to improve things constructively, resulting in learning, intellectual growth, and a happy and balanced life. At the same time, those who give criticism with pure intentions will develop valuable communication skills, build good understanding and trust with the recipient, and train themselves to be compassionate, wise, and responsible for their actions and words. This will result in society and organizations developing in a constructive direction, creating unity and sustainably developing strong immunity.
