The Invention of Cocoon Fragrance “Phan Poom” (Pedestal Tray)

Abstract

This project aims to: 1) study the process of producing the Cocoon fragrance "Phan Poom" (Pedestal tray) 2) study consumer satisfaction towards the invention "Phan Poom". To conduct the research studies, all data relevant was collected, which was used for sketching 3 designs for Cocoon fragrance "Phan Poom". These 3 sketch designs A, B and C were created for 3 experts to analyze and determine silk worms, styles, natural colour, invention process and composition. In addition, the study also examined the consumer satisfaction of 50 individuals towards "Phan Poom". All data was collected for final analysis using frequency, percentage and average. The analysis results were as follow: Most experts agreed that the best silkworm for Phan Poom was Phannarote hybrid silkworm because this yellow silkworm was large and easy to peel off. The most appropriate design should be the sketch design A as its composition was interesting, the tray net was clear and the colour was the natural one. About customer satisfaction score, a high percentage 4.56 indicated their satisfaction in Phannarote hybrid silkworm. For the benefits, the customers were satisfied to use "Phan Poom" in ceremonies with the highest score 4.58. Pricing cost, the customers were satisfied the most with 4000 bath as shown in table 4.02. And the channels of distribution, according to the survey, it showed a high level 4.62 of satisfaction with Online Marketplaces.
