The Invention of Thai Style Shell Hanger

Abstract

The purposes of this project were to: 1) study the invention process of Thai Style Shell Hanger 2) evaluate the group target satisfaction. To conduct the project, we did a search for all information relevant. In the design process, the Thai Style Shell Hanger sketching was executed: 3 sketch patterns for net pattern, flowers behind ears and a bunch of flowers. These 3 patterns for 5 experts to analyze and determine the most preferable sketch pattern. After having obtained the best one, we invented a Thai Style Shell Hanger and sent a satisfaction survey to 50 individuals to get their feedback. All data was collected for final analysis using frequency, percentage and average. The analysis results were as follow: 1. Thai Style Shell Hanger Pattern for net pattern, most experts agreed for the first pattern design with six stems and six flowers. The net was clear and suitable for the side part of the castle. For flowers behind ears, the pattern 2 was selected as the petals were fine and similar to fresh flowers. For a bunch of flowers, all experts chose the pattern 3 as it was similar to Champa flowers and looked perfect with flowers behind ears. 2. Satisfaction survey results Regarding invention: a high percentage 4.80 indicated the group target satisfaction with the beautiful design. For the materials, the target group preferred the white conch shells to gardenia flowers, and brown conch shells to gardenia branches. And the result also showed a high level of satisfaction 4.84 for the net "Na Chang" and the lower part net. For the benefits, the group target reported a high level 4.28 of satisfaction to preserve this Thai Style Shell Hanger. And the channels of distribution, they preferred social media such as Facebook, Instagram etc. as shown a high level 4.62
