CONSTRUCTING A THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK OF ENDLESS VISUAL DESIGN THINKING FOR IMMERSIVE CULTURAL TOURISM ARCHITECTURE
Abstract
In the era of experiential economy, cultural tourism architecture faces the dual challenges of spatial homogenization and superficial cultural expression. This paper proposes a novel design paradigm titled "Endless Visual Design Thinking." By synthesizing Flow Theory, Scenario Interaction, and the FIVE immersive framework, the study constructs a five-dimensional theoretical structure: Endless Spatiality, Temporality, Culturality, Chromaticity, and Materiality. Taking the "Rain Water" and "Qian Stage" projects as preliminary evidence, the research demonstrates how this framework can transform static architectural forms into dynamic, immersive cultural experiences. This study provides a systematic methodological guide for architects to foster deep emotional resonance and sustainable cultural inheritance.
