DIGITAL COMPETENCE FOR SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS OF CENTRAL BANGKOK AREA UNDER DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION BANGKOK METROPOLITAN ADMINISTRATION

This study aimed to: 1) examine the level of digital competence of school administrators in the Central Bangkok area under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, and 2) compare their digital competence based on gender, age, and work experience. The sample consisted of 278 school administrators and teachers from schools in the Central Bangkok area under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration during the 2024 academic year. The sample size was determined using the Krejcie and Morgan table. Data were collected through a questionnaire, and the data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and one-way analysis of variance (One-way ANOVA). The results found that: 1) the overall level of digital competence of school administrators was at a high level. Among the dimensions, the use of digital media and technology demonstrated the highest mean score. 2) There were no statistically significant differences in digital competence when classified by gender, age, or work experience. The findings can serve as a guideline for planning and developing digital competence policies for educational administrators in the digital era.
