Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has impacted educational administration in all dimensions, particularly the role of school administrators, who must adapt to keep pace with the digital era. Digital leadership has therefore become a key factor in driving the quality of teaching and learning management and enhancing teachers’ professional development more effectively. At the same time, internal supervision within schools serves as an important mechanism for promoting, supporting, and continuously improving instructional practices. Therefore, examining the relationship between digital leadership and internal supervision is essential for improving the quality of education in the current context.The purposes of this research were: 1) to study the level of digital leadership of school administrators in School Cluster 59 of Bang Phlat District, Bangkok; 2) to examine the level of internal supervision in schools in School Cluster 59 of Bang Phlat District, Bangkok; and 3) to investigate the relationship between digital leadership of school administrators and internal supervision in School Cluster 59 of Bang Phlat District, Bangkok. The sample used in this research consisted of 81 participants, including school administrators and teachers in schools in School Cluster 59 of Bang Phlat District, Bangkok, in the academic year 2025. The research instrument was a questionnaire. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation Coefficient. The data were analyzed using a statistical software program. The results of the research revealed that: 1.  The overall level of digital leadership of school administrators in School Cluster 59 of Bang Phlat District, Bangkok was at a high level. When considering each aspect, all four aspects were also at a high level. The aspects ranked from the highest to the lowest mean were digital knowledge and skills understanding, collaboration, innovation in digital learning, and digital vision. 2.  The overall level of internal supervision in schools in School Cluster 59 of Bang Phlat District, Bangkok was at a high level. When considering each aspect, all five aspects were also at a high level. The aspects ranked from the highest to the lowest mean were supervision evaluation, planning and determining alternatives, implementation of internal supervision, expansion and recognition, and study of current conditions, problems, and needs. 3. The relationship between digital leadership of school administrators and internal supervision in schools in School Cluster 59 of Bang Phlat District, Bangkok showed a very high positive correlation, with statistical significance at the .01 level (r = .918).
