DEVELOPMENT OF A BASIC JAKHE PRACTICE SKILLS TRAINING KIT FOR WESTERN MUSIC STUDENTS, MUSIC EDUCATION PROGRAM, FACULTY OF EDUCATION, BURIRAM RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY
Abstract
This research aimed to develop and evaluate the efficiency of a Basic Jakhe Practice Skills Training Kit according to the 75/75 criterion, in order to assess the basic Jakhe practice skills of students after instruction against the set criterion of 75% of the total score and to investigate students’ satisfaction with the Basic Jakhe Practice Skills Training Kit. The results of the study revealed that: 1) the efficiency of the Basic Jakhe Practice Skills Training Kit was 81.26/86.21, which exceeded the preset criterion of 75/75; 2) the evaluation of students’ basic Jakhe practice skills after instruction yielded a mean score of 83.55, surpassing the criterion of 75% of the total score; and 3) students’ satisfaction with the Basic Jakhe Practice Skills Training Kit had a mean score of 4.59, which was at the highest level.
