Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the administration of educational institutions according to the principles of good governance of Chachoengsao primary educational service area office 2, and 2) to compare the administration of educational institutions according to the principles of good governance of Chachoengsao primary educational service area office 2, classified by gender, educational level, work experience, and school size. The sample group consisted of 310 teachers in the academic year 2023, determined by Krejcie and Morgan’s sample size table and proportionally allocated according to the population of each school using the rule of three. Simple random sampling was then applied, considering the proportion according to school size. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). The research results revealed that the overall administration of educational institutions based on the principles of good governance was at a high level in all aspects. The highest mean score was found in the principle of the rule of law, followed by participation, responsibility, morality, cost-effectiveness, and transparency, respectively. For the comparative results, there was no statistically significant difference when classified by gender and educational level. However, when classified by work experience and school size, statistically significant differences at the .05 level were found.
