Abstract

This research was qualitative research. The researcher collected data from the network system and the Police Forensic Science Office Information System (F-net) and analyzed the data statistically, as well as conducting in-depth interviews with relevant officials. The key target group for this research was specifically selected, consisting of 20 individuals: arresting or seizing officers, inquiry official; or officers who sent seized drugs and scientist from Narcotics Sub-division. According to the study's the results, each police station's responsibility for a certain area affects the quantity and statistics of cases involving drugs in that area. The study also discovered that drug epidemics in each region are caused by a variety of environmental factors. Methamphetamine is still the most often used substance, with ketamine ranking in second. Additionally, it was discovered that an additional variety of drugs will be found in the area if there are tourist attractions or entertainment places nearby.
