OPINIONS OF PROCUREMENT OFFICERS ON THE PROCUREMENT AND CONTRACTING OPERATIONS OF THE OFFICE OF THE PERMANENT SECRETARY, PRIME MINISTER'S OFFICE

Abstract

This research aims to: 1) study the level of opinion of procurement officers regarding procurement and supply management operations at the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Prime Minister's Office; 2) compare the level of opinion of procurement officers regarding procurement and supply management operations at the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Prime Minister's Office; and 3) propose guidelines for enhancing the efficiency of procurement and supply management operations for procurement officers at the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Prime Minister's Office. This is a quantitative research. The population and sample group consisted of 193 personnel under the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Office of the Prime Minister. A questionnaire was used as the research instrument for data collection. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics: frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, and standard deviation. Hypothesis testing was conducted using the Independent Samples F-test (One-way ANOVA) at the significance level of 0.05. The study found that differing personal factors, including job position, age, and work experience, significantly affect the level of opinion of procurement officers toward procurement and supply management operations at the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Prime Minister's Office, at a statistical significance level of 0.05.
