FACTORS ASSOCIATED WITH THE LEVEL OF QUALITY OF WORK LIFE AMONG JUDICIAL PERSONNEL IN PHETCHABUN PROVINCE
Abstract
This research aims to study the factors associated with the quality of work life among judicial personnel in Phetchabun Province. The objectives were threefold: 1) to examine the level of quality of work life among judicial personnel, 2) to compare the quality of work life across personal factors such as gender, age, income, education, and years of service, and 3) to explore the relationship between job satisfaction and quality of work life. This study employed a quantitative research methodology using a structured questionnaire distributed to a sample of 115 participants. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics (frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation) and inferential statistics, including t-tests, F-tests, and Pearson correlation coefficient at a significance level of 0.05 The results revealed that the overall quality of work life among judicial personnel was at a high level across all eight dimensions: fair compensation, safe work environment, career advancement, job security, social integration, alignment with laws and the constitution, work-life balance, and societal contribution. Personal factors such as gender, age, income, education level, and years of service were not significantly associated with differences in quality of work life. Furthermore, job satisfaction in four dimensions supervision, coworkers, work environment, and organizational culture was significantly related to the quality of work life. These findings suggest the importance of enhancing job satisfaction and work-related support to improve overall work life quality and organizational effectiveness.
