FACTORS INFLUENCING ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT OF EMPLOYEES AT THE BANK FOR AGRICULTURE AND AGRICULTURAL COOPERATIVES IN PHETCHABUN PROVINCE

Abstract

This study aims to 1) study the level of organizational commitment among employees of the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives in Phetchabun Province. 2) compare personal factors with organizational commitment among employees of the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives in Phetchabun Province. 3) study the factors affecting organizational commitment among employees of the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives in Phetchabun Province. This study employs a quantitative research approach using a questionnaire. The sample consists of 202 respondents. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including mean, percentage, and standard deviation. Hypothesis testing was conducted using t-tests, F-tests, and Pearson correlation coefficients. The findings revealed that 1) The employees' opinions regarding BAAC’s organizational culture and their views on work-life balance were, on average, at a high level of agreement in relation to their organizational commitment. 2) Personal factors such as age, duration of employment, and salary level were found to significantly affect organizational commitment at the 0.05 significance level. 3) Organizational culture factors namely honesty with integrity, accountability, response heartily, teamwork, economy, sufficiency were not significantly associated with organizational commitment. However, work-life balance factors including work, family, time, financial aspects, and personal development were significantly associated with organizational commitment at the 0.05 significance level.
