THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN HAPPINESS ORGANIZATION MANAGEMENT AND ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT OF EDUCATIONAL PERSONNEL IN AN EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE AT A PLACE
Abstract
This research aimed to 1) study the level of organizational happiness management, 2) study the level of organizational commitment, and 3) study the relationship between organizational happiness management and organizational commitment among educational personnel in a district educational office. The sample included 385 educational personnel. The research instrument was a questionnaire. Data were analyzed to find percentages, mean values, and standard deviations, as well as to find relationships using Pearson correlation coefficients. The research findings indicated that 1) The level of organizational happiness management among educational personnel in a district educational office was overall high. When considering each aspect, the highest level was positive emotions, followed by life satisfaction, and finally, negative emotions. 2) The level of organizational commitment among educational personnel in a district educational office was overall high. When considering each aspect, the highest level was the strong desire to remain as a member of the organization, followed by confidence and commitment to the organization's goals and values, and finally, the effort and dedication to work for the organization's benefit. 3) The relationship between organizational happiness management and organizational commitment among educational personnel in a district educational office was positively correlated at a moderate level, with statistical significance at the 0.01 level.
