THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN BEHAVIORAL PSYCHOLOGY AND WORK EFFECTIVENESS OF EDUCATIONAL PERSONNEL IN A PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE AT A PLACE

Abstract

This research aimed to 1) study the level of behavioral psychology, 2) study the level of effectiveness in work, and 3) study the relationship between behavioral psychology and work effectiveness among the educational personnel of an educational service area office. The sample used in this research consisted of 385 educational personnel. The tools used were questionnaires, and the statistics used for data analysis included frequency distribution, percentage calculation, mean, standard deviation, and Pearson's correlation coefficient analysis. The results of the study found that 1) The overall level of behavioral psychology was high. When classified by aspect, it was found that the highest aspect was behavior, followed by habit, and lastly, personality. 2) The overall level of effectiveness was high. When classified by aspect, it was found that all aspects were at a high level, with the highest being the ability to develop students with a positive attitude, followed by the ability to produce students with high academic achievement, and lastly, the ability to solve internal school problems. 3) The analysis of the relationship between behavioral psychology and work effectiveness using multiple regression analysis showed a value of 0.900. It could explain the variance of behavioral psychology and work effectiveness with statistical significance at the 0.01 level, accounting for 91.10% (R2 = 0.911). The hypothesis testing found that there was a statistically significant relationship between behavioral psychology and work effectiveness at the 0.01 level.
