FURTHER STUDY NEEDS FOR THE BACHELOR OF ARTS PROGRAM IN CHINESE LANGUAGE MAJOR YALA RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study the needs for further studies in the Bachelor of Arts program Chinese language major at Yala Rajabhat University, consisting of data from high school students that was collected from questionnaires of 221 people. Data was analyzed by percentage, mean and standard deviation. The results of the study found that most high school students’ emphasis is placed on communication skills and information technology with a desire to pursue a bachelor's degree in the field of Chinese language for communication most. This is the main factor affecting the decision to continue studying in the Bachelor of Arts program Chinese language major for high school students including institutional readiness, quality of the curriculum and qualifications of teachers.
