THE RELATIONSHIP OF EDUCATION PROVISION WITH PARTICIPATION IN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT OF EDUCATIONAL PERSONNEL, OFFICE OF THE PROMOTION OF NON-FORMAL AND INFORMAL EDUCATION
Abstract
This study aimed to 1) assess the level of educational provision, 2) evaluate the level of participation, and 3) examine the relationship between educational provision and community development participation among educational personnel within the Office of the Promotion of Non-Formal and Informal Education. The research involved 385 educational personnel, utilizing questionnaires to collect data. Statistical analysis included frequency, percentages, averages, standard deviations, and Pearson's correlation. Key findings revealed that: 1) Educational management was generally rated high, with the environment being the top factor, followed by personnel, and lastly, network partner participation. 2) Participation in community development was also rated high across all aspects, with the highest in evaluation, followed by decision-making, and lastly, operations. 3) A significant positive relationship between educational provision and participation in community development was identified, with a correlation coefficient of 0.912, indicating that educational provision strongly predicts community participation. The study explained 88.8% of the variance (R² = 0.888) in participation based on educational provision, with statistical significance at the 0.01 level.
