ADMINISTRATIVE SKILLS AND THE EFFECTIVENESS OF ACADEMIC ADMINISTRATION IN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS UNDER THE OFFICE OF SPECIAL EDUCATION ADMINISTRATION
Abstract
The purposes of this research are to 1) study the level of administrative skills 2) study the effectiveness level of academic administration 3) study the relationship between administrative skills and the effectiveness of academic administration in educational institutions. Under the Office of Special Education Administration. The sample group used in this research was 385 educational personnel. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The statistics used to analyze the data were: Frequency breakdown Finding percentages, averages, standard deviations and analysis of the Pearson correlation coefficient. The results of the study found that 1) Overall management skills were at a high level. When considering each area, it was found that number 1 was technical methods, followed by human relations skills, and the last ranking is in the concept aspect, respectively.
2) Effectiveness of academic administration Overall, the average is at a moderate level. When considering each aspect, it was found that number 1 was academic planning. Followed by teaching and learning management in educational institutions. Educational institution curriculum development. And the last ranking is aspects of educational supervision, respectively 3) The relationship between administrative skills and the effectiveness of academic administration was found to be technical and methodological. Human relations skills Conceptual side the multiple correlation coefficient is equal to 0.900 and can explain the variation in administrative skills and academic administration effectiveness. Statistically significant at the 0.01 level was 77.20 percent (R2 = 0.772). And the results of the test results of the hypothesis of administrative skills and academic administration effectiveness found that Statistically significant at the 0.01 level.
