THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN HUMAN RESOURCE DIVERSITY MANAGEMENT AND MULTICULTURAL CHARACTERISTICS IN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS OF EDUCATIONAL PERSONNEL IN NONG KHAI PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE 2
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to 1) study the level of diversity management in human resources, 2) study the level of multicultural characteristics in educational institutions, and 3) study the relationship of diversity management in human resources with the multicultural characteristics in educational institutions of educational personnel in the area office. Nongkhai Primary Education Area 2. The sample group used in this research was 385 educational personnel. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The statistics used to analyze the data were: Frequency breakdown Finding percentages, averages, standard deviations and analysis of the Pearson correlation coefficient. The results of the study found that 1) diversity management in human resources Overall it is at a high level. When classified into areas, it was found that the number 1 area was ethnicity, followed by language, religion, and way of life. And the last ranking is Tradition 2) Multicultural characteristics in educational institutions Overall it is at a high level. When classified into each aspect, it was found that all aspects were at a high level. The aspect ranked number 1 at the highest level is pride in culture, followed by acceptance of cultural diversity, and last rank namely, the perception of a multicultural atmosphere in the school. The relationship between diversity management in human resources and multicultural characteristics in educational institutions is in the same direction with statistical significance at the 0.000 level. Results of the analysis of the relationship between diversity management in human resources and multicultural characteristics in educational institutions, using the multiple regression method. The multiple correlation coefficient is equal to 0.970.and be able to explain variations in diversity management in human resources with multicultural characteristics in educational institutions. Statistically significant at the 0.01 level was 97.80 percent (R2 = 0.978) and the relationship between diversity management in human resources and multicultural characteristics in educational institutions, and found to be statistically significant at the 0.01 level.
