MOTIVATION WORK THAT AFFECTS THE WORK PERFORMANCE OF PERSONNEL BANGBON DISTRICT OFFICE BANGKOK

Abstract

This research aimed to study 1) the level of work motivation and work performance of personnel, 2) the relationship between work motivation and work performance of personnel in Bang Bon District Office, Bangkok. It was survey research. The research instrument was a questionnaire. The simple random sampling method was used with 242 people, The research results found that 1) the overall level of personnel motivation in work was at a high level, including work success, advancement, respect, internal relations, nature of work, and policy and management. 2) the overall level of personnel performance was at a high level, including achievement orientation, adherence to legitimacy, teamwork, good service, and accumulation of professional expertise. 3) The relationship between work motivation and performance was found to be at a high level (rxy =.764) and the regression coefficient of prediction in the form of raw scores (b) was equal to .213, .206, .178, .159, .152, and .137, with a predictive power (R2 = 813) or 81.30 percent. The results of the hypothesis testing found that work motivation had a positive effect on the performance of personnel in Bangbon District Office, Bangkok, with statistical significance .01
