Abstract

This research aimed to study the ethnography of police officers and the efficiency of performing social duties of the administrative division, Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Police. The research results found that; 1) The ethnography of police officers in the administrative division, Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Police, found that the ideological experience in performing social duties, believing that police officers develop themselves to be mindful and alert at all times, inspiring themselves to perform social duties, and police life and career must have life goals; 2) The efficiency in performing social duties found that helping to advise others on what is right and proper, cooperating with others to develop society, good police officers should be good examples, showing respect for others with good examples, being role models in showing respect and listening, and giving polite advice. Good police with public spirit is thinking and wishing well of individuals who will do something to benefit the public; 3) Approaches to developing police ethnography and the efficiency in performing social duties of the administrative division, Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Police. Police ethnography is an approach that is both a science and an art of explaining the way of life, customs, traditions, and specific cultures of police ethnicities in order to deeply understand police culture. It is a tool for studying thoughts, ways of life, values, and religious beliefs that affect family care.
