EFFECTS OF WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT FACTORS ON COAL BUYERS SATISFACTION IN PHRA NAKHON SI AYUTTHAYA PROVINCE

Abstract

The research aims to 1) study the satisfaction level of coal purchase of entrepreneurs, 2) study personal factors, including gender, age, education level, work experience, and average monthly income, that affect the satisfaction of coal purchase of entrepreneurs, and 3) study the factors of warehouse management, including goods receipt, goods storage, goods picking, goods delivery, and goods delivery, that affect the satisfaction of coal purchase of entrepreneurs. This research used a quantitative research design with 400 self-administered questionnaires from coal buyers in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. The analysis was performed using a ready-made computer program for statistical analysis, including descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The research results found that 1) the overall satisfaction level in purchasing coal was 4.30, which concluded that coal buyers had the highest satisfaction in purchasing coal. 2) Personal factors, including gender (Sig 0.729), education level (Sig 0.200), and work experience (Sig 0.106), did not affect the satisfaction in purchasing coal of entrepreneurs. However, age (Sig 0.010) and average monthly income (Sig 0.038) affected the satisfaction in purchasing coal of entrepreneurs. 3) Warehouse management in terms of product delivery (B = 0.307, Sig = 0.000), product receipt (B = 0.240, Sig = 0.000), and product distribution (B = 0.212, Sig = 0.001) were factors affecting the satisfaction in purchasing coal of entrepreneurs. The storage aspect (B = 0.051, Sig = 0.475) and the picking aspect (B = 0.063, Sig = 0.377) did not affect the satisfaction of the entrepreneurs in buying coal. It can be concluded that the factor of receiving goods that increased by one unit affected the satisfaction of the entrepreneurs in buying coal by 24.00 percent, the factor of distributing goods that increased by one unit affected the satisfaction of the entrepreneurs in buying coal by 21.20 percent, and the factor of delivering goods that increased by one unit affected the satisfaction of the entrepreneurs in buying coal by 37.70 percent.
