THE PERCEPTION TO SOFT POWER POLICY OF GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS, GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES THE PERMANENT SECRETARY, MINISTRY OF CULTURE
Abstract
This research aims to 1) study the level of awareness of soft power policy, 2) compare the level of awareness of soft power policy, and 3) study the factors affecting the awareness of soft power policy among civil servants at the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Culture. The sample group consisted of 163 people. The statistics used to analyze the data were frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Multiple regression analysis was employed. The results revealed that the overall level of awareness of soft power policy among civil servants at the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Culture, was at the highest level. The highest mean was found in the awareness of driving soft power to elevate the culture of the Ministry of Culture. The process of awareness that had the highest mean was the selection and memorization aspect. In terms of personal factors, gender and education level had statistically significant differences in the level of awareness of soft power policy at the 0.05 level.
This study: There is a suggestion that the organization should establish clear projects, plans, and guidelines to make personnel in the agency more aware of such policies. Because it will be a stimulating part. Pushing, driving and lead to work that comes from an understanding of the objective including choosing to open wide awareness.
