THE PUBLICPARTICIPATION IN LOCAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN OF BANGKHAYAENG SUBDISTRICT MUNICIPALITY MUEANGPATHUMTHANI DISTRICT PATHUMTHANIPROVINCE

Abstract

This research is a qualitative research study. The data was collected through interviews with 15 important informants. The objective was to study public participation in preparing the local development plan of Bang Khayaeng Subdistrict Municipality. Mueang Pathum Thani District Pathum Thani Province They also study problems and obstacles along with studying ways to solve problems in participation of the people in making development plans. Research has found that public participation in preparing local development plans should be developed. The municipality should create incentives for people to have faith. Have confidence for the benefit of the public including building good relationships with the people. You must give your heart to the people more than using your power Promote cooperation, joint effort, and giving people the opportunity to exchange opinions. As for problems and obstacles, it was found that people lack understanding, knowledge, and lack the power of faith in the management team. Therefore, there is no courage to express opinions. And in terms of solutions to problems and obstacles, it was found that training should be organized to educate the public in order to promote people's knowledge Understanding of local development plans including knowing how to take action and benefits that will be received
