Abstract

The purpose of this article is to study how to create therid from seashells according The Fifth Municipal School case. There are 2 main procedures for this aritcle between researching from related documents and discussing to therid contributor objective. The study result was found The Fifth Municipal School had the idea to create therid from seashells for Nora performance which are accessible, inexpensive and uncomplicated to remake new one including easy for maintenance. Also school location was near the Gulf of Thailand where was huge amount of seashells that be replaceable from the expensive gemstones for therid decoration some part of therid. Would be using by plastic water bottles to adorn around Kra-Chang (lotus-like patterns) instead of genuine leather. Therid wouldn't be lacquered with gold but it was set by red and gold color instead. Whole invention process was as same as the original procedure, only materials were changed. From this case study, we can apply it as a guideline to create adornment by using materials around us to maximize its benefit even so, it still remains core function, saves the budget and time and be more convenient for storage and maintenance. Moreover, we are able to preserve the value of therid as the same time.
