Abstract

The objectives of this research were to 1) study the level of competency factors, academic achievement factors and self-development of undergraduate students in Human Resource Management Program, Faculty of Management Science, Phuket Rajabhat University and 2) study competency factors and academic achievement factors that affect the self-development of undergraduate students in Human Resource Management Program, Faculty of Management Science, Phuket Rajabhat University. The sample group was undergraduate students in Human Resource Management Program, Faculty of Management Science, Phuket Rajabhat University 182 people. This is quantitative research, a questionnaire was used as a tool to collect data which were analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation statistics, and multiple regression analysis. The research results found that most of the students had high levels of competency factors and academic achievement factors. When considering individual competency factors, including knowledge, skills, attitudes, and motivation, they have an effect on self-development 66.70 percent with a statistical significance of <.001. Competency factors that positively affect self-development include skills and attitudes. Meanwhile, academic achievement factors include cultivation from family, peer society, teachers, access to online medias, and university environment have an effect on self-development of 72.70 percent with a statistical significance of <.001. Academic achievement factors that have a positive effect on self-development include teachers, access to online media, university environment, cultivation from the family and friend society.
