THE ATTITUDES OF CONSUMERS TOWARDS NURSING HOME SERVICES IN BANGKOK

Abstract

The purposes of present research were to study 1) the attitudes of consumers towards nursing home services in Bangkok. 2) the relation between the Demographic Characteristics and the attitudes of consumers towards nursing home services in Bangkok. The samples in this study was 385 people who has age more than 35 years old in Bangkok. Data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, standard deviation and Correlation Coefficient. The research findings indicated that the attitudes of consumers towards nursing home services in Bangkok in overall was in high level. When considered to each aspect which could sort from high to low as followed; physical characteristics, price, goods and services, the service staff, service process, promotion and services, respectively. The hypothesis testing showed that gender related to personnel aspect and service process, age related to goods /services and physical characteristics. The level of education related to services and promotion and average income per month related to price.
