BEHAVIOR OF SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT OF PEOPLE IN PHO THONG SUB-DISTRICT, THA SALA DISTRICT, NAKHON SI THAMMARAT PROVINCE

Abstract

The purpose of the descriptive research was to study the household waste management behavior of the people of Pho Thong Subdistrict, Tha Sala District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. The sample group was the people of Pho Thong Subdistrict, Tha Sala District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. A total of 345 tools used in the research were questionnaires, data analysis to find percentage, mean, standard deviation, chi-square analysis, Pearson correlation coefficient. The results of the research found that in terms of personal factors, the majority of the population were female, accounting for 246 people, with ages ranging from 50-59 years. Most had marital status, most occupations were general contractors, most of the income was income is in the range of 5,001-10,000 baht/month, and most of the household members are 1-3 people in the house. Knowledge about the management of people's household waste is at a high level The solid waste management behavior of the people was found to have no statistically significant relationship (p > 0.05).
