MATHEMATICAL PROBLEM-SOLVING ABILITY ON PROBLEMS ABOUT SYSTEMS OF LINEAR EQUATIONS IN TWO VARIABLES OF MATHAYOMSUKSA 3 STUDENTS BY USING CREATIVE PROBLEM SOLVING OF TREFFINGER AND PRINCIPLES OF REALISTIC MATHEMATICS EDUCATION
Abstract
The objective of this research were to compare a study of mathematical problem solving ability on problems about systems of linear equations in two variables of mathayomsuksa 3 Students between before and after learning by using creative problem solving of treffinger and principles of realistic mathematics education and a study of mathematical problem solving ability on problems about systems of linear equations in two variables of mathayomsuksa 3 Students after learning by using creative problem solving of treffinger and principles of realistic mathematics education at the 60 percent of criterion. The results of this study were shown as follows 1) The mathematics problem solving ability on the solving linear equations with two variables of the nine grade students using Treffinger creative learning model with principles of realistic mathematics education after learning was significantly higher than before learning at the .05 level. 2) The mathematics problem solving ability on the solving linear equations with two variables of the nine grade students using Treffinger creative learning model with principles of realistic mathematics education after learning was significantly higher than the 60 percent criteria at the .05 level.
