The research paper examines the utilization patterns of hotel common areas in accordance with the Ministry of Public Health Tourism standards for the "new normal." Guidelines for improvement involve the use of technology to minimize physical contact, coupled with strategies for managing common areas within hotels, aiming to create a satisfying experience for both service users and providers. The qualitative research tools utilized in this study include a questionnaire and in-depth interviews developed through a literature review. The informants comprise three main groups: customers, service providers, and high-level management. The research results indicate that the improvement strategies through the use of technology to reduce physical contact and the management of common areas within hotels play a crucial role in supporting the public health safety standards set by the government. Furthermore, the research findings specify that technology can be utilized as a supportive tool to ease the tasks of service providers, and it can be effectively integrated with hotel services. High-level hotel executives must conduct training programs to ensure that their personnel possess the knowledge and skills related to the operation and maintenance of various technological equipment. This is essential to maintain the readiness of the equipment, aiming to generate satisfaction among both service users and providers. This is particularly relevant in the context of the hotel industry's new normal, where minimizing physical contact is a priority.
