CHATTING BEHAVIOR OF LECTURERS

This qualitative research aims to study about chatting behavior of lecturers by focus group technique with 18 lecturers. The result found that the lecturers have their ways to prevent and solve the problems from chatting in many ways as provide all clear information in the first classroom meeting and repeat many times during the semester. And more, they use stickers, emojis or cartoons for fun mood and tone, reply every chat quickly, use in trend teenager words. In case of serious chatting, most of lecturers make calls or appointments for more effective communication result. Moreover, they cool down themselves to continue the chat with sweet words.
