Abstract

This research aimed to examine the attitudes of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) toward sustainable supply chain management, dynamic capabilities, government support, and capital market access capability in the Bangkok Metropolitan Region. This study employed quantitative research design. The sample consisted of 400 SME entrepreneurs, selected through stratified random sampling based on seven business categories, followed by simple random sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The results revealed that the entrepreneurs' attitudes toward all variables were at a high level. Sustainable supply chain management had a mean score of 4.01, with the environmental dimension receiving the highest mean. Dynamic capabilities had a mean score of 4.01, with seizing opportunities and decision-making receiving the highest mean. Capital market access capability had a mean score of 3.95, with systematic readiness and governance receiving the highest mean. Government support had a mean score of 3.89, the lowest among the four variables, with the legal and regulatory dimension receiving the highest mean. The findings reflect that entrepreneurs place greater importance on internal organizational factors than on reliance on government measures. These findings are beneficial for entrepreneurs in planning their business development toward sustainability, and serve as supporting information for government agencies to improve SME promotion measures so that they reach entrepreneurs more effectively.
