HUMAN-AI COLLABORATIVE DESIGN FRAMEWORK: INNOVATION MECHANISM AND WORKFLOW RECONFIGURATION IN ART DESIGN; A CASE STUDY ON THE DESIGN INNOVATION OF THE INNER SPIRIT OF YIXING PURPLE CLAY TEAPOTS
Abstract
In the context of the development of generative artificial intelligence (AIGC), traditional craftsmanship innovation is facing the challenge of transitioning to "intrinsic spirit inheritance". This study takes Yixing purple clay teapots as an example to explore the innovative mechanism and workflow of Human-AI collaborative design (HAIC) in reconstructing the intrinsic spirit (such as Zen, blank space) of traditional artifacts. By comparing the traditional design process with the collaborative design process, this study conducted experiments on 40 designers and combined emotional design theory and the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to construct a scientific evaluation system. The results show that Human-AI collaboration can significantly enhance the cultural authenticity and innovation extensibility of the design, effectively breaking the "design fixation". At the mechanism level, large models can convert abstract philosophical semantics into visual tension, while CMF (color, material, and surface treatment) is pre-positioned as the core artistic conception construction variable in the conceptual stage. Moreover, the collaborative mechanism provides cultural cognitive compensation for novices and stimulates deep philosophical reflection for experts. This study reveals the evolution of designers in the intelligent era to the role of "meaning curator", providing a theoretical path for the dynamic inheritance of traditional craftsmanship.
