FACTORS AFFECTING DIGITAL INTELLIGENCE OF GEN-Z STUDENTS AT MAHANAKORN UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY

Abstract

The objectives of this study were 1) to study the level of Digital Intelligence of GEN-Z students at Mahanakorn University of Technology and 2) to study factors predicting Digital Intelligence of GEN-Z students at Mahanakorn University of Technology. The sample consisted of 400 students at Mahanakorn University of Technology. The research instruments were the questionnaires measuring about general personal factors, Student Questionnaires, Digital Intelligence Test, Happiness Assessment Test, Stress Test. The data collected were analyzed by using a computer package program. The statistical analysis was percentage, mean, standard deviation, correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The results of the study indicated that 1) The overall average of Digital Intelligence of GEN-Z student at Mahanakorn University of Technology was at a high level. 2) Digital Intelligence had predictive power of 8.40 percent. There were predicted by Happiness (β = 0.223) Academic achievement (β = 0.184) Year of study (β = 0.150) and Average monthly income (β = 0.125) respectively.
