FACTORS CONTRIBUTING TO UNEMPLOYMENT AMONG GRADUATES OF KASETSART UNIVERSITY, BANGKHEN CAMPUS

Abstract

The research on factors of unemployment among graduates of Kasetsart University, Bangkhen Campus aimed to (1) study the level of factors of unemployment among graduates of Kasetsart University, Bangkhen Campus, and (2) compare the factors of unemployment among graduates of Kasetsart University, Bangkhen Campus, classified by personal factors including (1) gender, (2) age, (3) income, (4) field of study, (5) place of residence, and (6) employment status. In this study, the researcher used a sample group of 307 graduates from Kasetsart University, Bangkhen Campus. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The statistical methods used for analysis included percentage, mean, standard deviation, and One-Way ANOVA analysis with significant values and Multiple Regression Analysis. Statistically significant at the 0.05 level.The research findings revealed that graduates of Kasetsart University, Bangkhen Campus, with different income levels and places of residence, exhibited statistically significant differences in unemployment factors at the 0.05 level, consistent with the hypothesis. However, graduates of Kasetsart University, Bangkhen Campus, with different genders, ages, fields of study, and employment statuses did not show significant differences in unemployment factors, which contradicted the hypothesis.
