Participation of Tambon Administrative Organization Council Members in Local Development Planning of Nong Phok Subdistrict Administrative Organization Thawat Buri District, Roi Et Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to study the level of participation of Tambon Administrative Organization council members in planning local development; 2) to study the recommendations on guidelines for participation of Tambon Administrative Organization council members in planning local development. quantitative research The questionnaire was used to collect data from 394 members of the Sub-District Administrative Organization and the statistics used for data analysis were mean, standard deviation of the test. It was found that the aspect with the highest mean was the project participation aspect (= 4.17, S.D. = .36), followed by The co-evaluating aspect (= 4.15, S.D. = .48), the co-decision making aspect (= 4.09, S.D. = .51), the co-operation aspect (= 4.07, S.D. = .48), and the attendance aspect ( = .48). 4.06, S.D. = .51), respectively.

Suggestions for guidelines for participation of sub-district administrative organization council members in planning local development It should be seen that the preparation of a local development plan must be of the greatest benefit to the community and the people. Therefore, it should be included in all stages of local development planning.
