Design Of Souvenir Lamp Sets Made From Tamarind Pod Fibers In Phetchabun Province

Abstract

This research aimed to design a souvenir lamp set made from tamarind pod fibers and to assess satisfaction with the product design for Phetchabun Province. The study began with a survey of tourists' preferences regarding the design of the souvenir lamp set made from tamarind pod fibers. The collected data were analyzed to develop four design prototypes. Experts evaluated these prototypes based on design and aesthetics, uniqueness, and functional value. The results indicated that Design 2 received the highest average score of 4.68 across all evaluation criteria. Subsequently, Design 2 was used to create a prototype lamp set. Satisfaction with the souvenir lamp set was then assessed among 100 tourists. Data analysis, including the calculation of mean and standard deviation, revealed that overall tourist satisfaction had an average score of 4.65 with a standard deviation of 0.53, indicating the highest level of satisfaction.
