Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • To submit your work, please create an account by clicking the Register link.
  • Submitted article must be original work that has not been previously published, is not currently in press, and is not under consideration by any other publication. Please use the Word templates provided on our website to prepare your submission.
  • Manuscript must be prepared in strict accordance with the journal’s guidelines. For detailed instructions, please refer to “Recommendations & Examples for Manuscript Preparation” within the 'Information for Authors' menu.
  • To submit your work, please visit the journal website. All submissions must include a completed Manuscript Submission Request Form, which can be uploaded alongside the manuscript at: https://so09.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/jait_ssru."
  • The Editorial Board performs a preliminary review of all submissions for journal’s scope, formatting, and completeness. If an article is deemed unsuitable for the journal, the authors will be notified of the rejection at this initial stage.
  • Once a article is accepted for peer review, authors will receive an official notification. This notice provides a link and instructions for paying the publication fee through the SSRU Event Registration System at https://evt.ssru.ac.th.
  • Following notification of acceptance for peer review, authors are required to remit the publication fee. The rates are structured as follows:
    • Thai-language articles: 4,000 THB per article
    • English-language articles: 6,000 THB per article
    Please note that payment is a mandatory prerequisite for the article to proceed to the peer review stage.
  • Upon confirmation of payment, the article will be assigned to experts for evaluation under the journal’s peer review system.
  • The Editorial Board will notify authors of the review outcome in accordance with the journal’s standard protocols. Please be advised that the publication fee is non-refundable, regardless of whether the article is rejected during review or withdrawn by the author.

2. Manuscript Preparation

The Journal of Academic Information and Technology accepts both research and academic articles, in Thai or English, related to the fields of information science, information studies, library science, information technology, technology management, and to other related fields. Submitted articles must be scientific and contemporary. Research/academic articles submitted for consideration of publication must not be previously published, nor are currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. Each published article must be peer-reviewed by 3 experts. The Editorial Office reserves the rights to edit submitted manuscripts and to decide the order of publication of articles. To facilitate the decision process, it recommends a guideline for preparing and submitting a manuscript.

*The Journal has changed its preferred reference format from the 6th Edition APA format to the 7th Edition APA format. The change is effective starting on the Journal’s 2nd issue (July-December) of the year 2022 – of its 3rd year.

Submission of an article to be published in the Journal of Academic Information and Technology

        The submitted article must have never been published, nor is it currently in-press, elsewhere.

Article Processing Charge (APC)

         The Journal of Academic Information and Technology has implemented the Article Publication Charges (APCs) to compensate experts who review articles, as well as to cover the administrative costs of the Journal of Academic Information and Technology.

        Therefore, we would like to inform you of the Article Publication Charges (APCs) in the Journal of Academic Information and Technology as follows:
         - Thai language articles: 4,000 baht per article
         - English language articles: 6,000 baht per article
