A STUDY OF QUALITY OF WORK LIFE OF TEACHERS IN SCHOOLS UNDER LOCAL ADMINISTRATIVE ORGANIZATIONS IN PRACHINBURI PROVINCE

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the level of quality of work life of teachers in schools under Local Administrative Organizations in Prachin Buri Province; and 2) to compare the quality of work life of these teachers classified by their basic characteristics. The sample group consisted of 275 teachers under Local Administrative Organizations in Prachin Buri Province during the academic year 2025. The research instrument was a 5-point rating scale questionnaire covering 6 aspects, with Item Objective Congruence (IOC) indices between 0.80 - 1.00 and a reliability value of 0.960. Data analysis was conducted using a statistical software package to calculate percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, F-test, and pairwise comparison using Scheffe’s method.
The research findings revealed that
- The overall quality of work life of teachers in schools under Local Administrative
Organizations in Prachin Buri Province was at a high level. When considering specific aspects, it was found that one aspect was at a moderate level and five aspects were at a high level. The aspect with the highest mean score was career growth and security.
- The comparison of the quality of work life classified by basic characteristics revealed that teachers with different generations and work experiences had statistically significant differences in their overall quality of work life at the .05 level. However, there was no significant difference regarding the forms of Local Administrative Organizatio.
