These tools have evolved from simple aids to active “co-instructors,” capable of generating content, designing personalized learning experiences, analyzing student data, and providing instant feedback at scale. In this context, Thai teachers are facing both unprecedented opportunities and critical challenges. Their role must shift from knowledge transmitters to facilitators, critical thinkers, and ethical guardians of AI-generated content. Essential competencies in the AI era include prompt engineering, evaluating AI outputs, designing individualized learning plans, and promoting ethical use of AI in education. Nevertheless, barriers such as teacher anxiety, lack of sustained professional development, and technological disparities persist. This paper proposes strategies for empowering Thai teachers to adapt effectively, including active learning-based training, integration of AI ethics into teacher education, the establishment of AI teacher-coaches, and multi-sector collaboration. These approaches aim to ensure that Thai educators not only keep pace with AI but thrive alongside it—ethically, sustainably, and equitably.
2025-08-31T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 ratchasimaparithat https://so09.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/RSMP/article/view/7158 The Use of AI and Big Data in Educational Leadership Decision-Making Possibilities and Challenges 2025-08-12T19:29:10+07:00 ธนัฐพร กำลังหาญ tanatpronkum32.journal@gmail.com
In the digital era, data has become a crucial component in driving development across all sectors, including education. School administrators must adapt by leveraging technological tools to support more effective decision-making. This article aims to explore the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data in educational administration and analyze the feasibility and challenges of such technologies within the Thai education context. Based on a review of relevant literature and theoretical frameworks, the study finds that AI and Big Data possess strong potential to support strategic decision-making processes in schools—for example, analyzing student achievement, predicting at-risk behaviors, allocating resources efficiently, and monitoring professional development for teachers. However, critical challenges remain, including inadequate infrastructure, limited personnel capacity, ethical concerns, and insufficient budget allocation. This article proposes four key strategies to promote sustainable implementation of AI and Big Data in school management: (1) enhancing digital competencies of school administrators and teachers, (2) developing technological infrastructure within schools, (3) establishing ethical data use policies, and (4) fostering collaboration with private sectors and higher education institutions. These recommendations aim to strengthen data-informed decision-making capacity and prepare schools to become innovative organizations in the digital age.
2025-08-31T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 ratchasimaparithat https://so09.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/RSMP/article/view/7196 FUTURE TEACHERS AND AI: COEXISTENCE, ADAPTATION, AND TECHNOLOGY INTEGRATION FOR ENHANCED LEARNING QUALITY 2025-08-18T19:22:43+07:00 วันวิสา เสียงสนั่น wanwisa.journal@gmail.com
This article analyzes the evolving role and adaptation of Thai teachers in the era of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) that is increasingly transforming the educational landscape. AI is no longer a mere tool but is becoming a “teaching assistant” or “co-instructor” capable of designing, analyzing, and assessing personalized learning. This poses significant challenges to traditional teaching roles. The analysis is grounded in key frameworks and theories such as TPACK, DigCompEdu, the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), Adaptation Theory, and the concept of Human-AI Collaboration. The article argues that teachers must shift from being content transmitters to becoming learning designers who utilize AI ethically and critically. Recommendations include integrating digital competence in teacher education, establishing mentoring systems in schools, and implementing supportive policies to promote ethical and sustainable AI use in education. The ultimate goal is to enhance learning quality in a way that is meaningful, modern, and aligned with the needs of a rapidly changing world.
2025-08-31T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 ratchasimaparithat https://so09.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/RSMP/article/view/7197 The Image of Buddhist Temples in the Digital Media Era : Abbot-Led Crisis Management in Response to Negative Publicity 2025-08-18T19:19:05+07:00 เตชทัต แก้วยงกฎ techathat.journal@gmail.com
In today’s digital era, where news spreads rapidly through social media platforms, Buddhist temples as religious institutions are increasingly vulnerable to “negative news” that may significantly undermine public faith and trust. This article aims to examine the characteristics of such news affecting the image of temples, analyze the role of abbots in crisis management, and propose communication strategies to restore public confidence. The study is grounded in the Crisis Communication Theory, Image Restoration Theory, and principles of good governance in religious organizations. The analysis reveals that issues related to monks’ misconduct or lack of transparency in temple administration often trigger strong criticism across social networks. As spiritual leaders and organizational heads, abbots must possess ethical leadership, sound decision-making, and digital communication skills to navigate such crises effectively. Successful practices include proactive communication via social media, internal monitoring within temples, transparency-driven image building, and community engagement. This article recommends policy-level support such as handbooks for crisis response, training for monks in ethical communication and governance, and a more active role of the Sangha Supreme Council and relevant government agencies in sustaining the public image of temples in alignment with modern media contexts.
2025-08-31T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 ratchasimaparithat https://so09.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/RSMP/article/view/7300 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT AND GRASSROOTS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN THE DIGITAL AGE 2025-08-28T18:05:00+07:00 ปณิตา มุ่งก่อกลาง phanita8460@gmail.com
This article examines the role of the Department of Community Development (DCD) in driving grassroots economy in the digital era. The grassroots economy plays a vital role in strengthening national economic and social security as it serves as the primary source of income for the majority of Thai people and contributes to reducing inequality. The DCD has promoted grassroots economic development through initiatives such as village and urban community funds, occupational promotion and community groups, the One Tambon One Product (OTOP) project, and leadership development within communities. In the digital era, technology has become a crucial tool enabling communities to access new markets and opportunities, particularly through e-commerce, social media, e-learning, and the application of Big Data. Nevertheless, challenges remain, including the digital divide, insufficient digital skills among the population, and limitations in digital infrastructure. To address these issues, this article proposes several strategies: enhancing digital literacy among citizens and community leaders, fostering collaboration among government, private sectors, and academic institutions, investing in digital infrastructure to ensure equitable access, and integrating local wisdom with technology to create value-added products. In conclusion, the development of grassroots economy in the digital era requires integrated efforts, with the DCD acting as a key driver in coordinating resources and support. Such efforts will enable communities to strengthen self-reliance, achieve sustainable development, and remain resilient amidst global economic and social transformations.
2025-08-31T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2025 ratchasimaparithat
